Cookies only for ads. And only with your consent.
The website itself only remembers in your browser what you save in its tools. Cookies are stored only by Google AdSense advertising, and only according to your choice in Google's consent message.

What the website itself stores
Only what you ask for. There are no accounts and no shopping cart. The appearance follows your system settings, which the browser handles on its own. In browser storage (not cookies) the website's tools keep your favourite servers (key gta-hub-servers-fav), collectible progress (key gta-hub-collectibles) and completed missions (key gta-hub-missions). Everything stays in your browser, is never sent anywhere and disappears when you clear the site's data.
Advertising
Advertising is provided by Google AdSense: at most two slots per page, always labelled. On your first visit from the EU, the UK or Switzerland, Google shows a consent message. Google's advertising cookies are stored only if you agree in it; without consent Google shows limited, non-personalised ads.
How to change your consent
Use the button below this text to reopen Google's consent message and change your choice. Clearing the site's data in your browser also removes the saved choice, and the message will appear again on your next visit.
The game frame
After you click on the Play GTA 1 page, a page from the engine authors' domain loads. It may store its own data under its own rules. Nothing loads before you click.
How to check
Open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Application or Storage tab and look at Cookies. Until you agree in Google's message, Google's own rules say it does not store advertising cookies. If you find some anyway, please let us know.
