How often is the list refreshed?
Every 15 minutes from the public RAGE:MP list. Servers report their player counts themselves; we just collect, sort and store them in the history.

RAGE:MP is a standalone multiplayer for GTA V with its own servers — mostly roleplay with voice chat. Here you can see all of them, with live player counts.

Star the servers you play on. Next time you'll see right here how many people are on them.

A legal copy of GTA V is required
Before installing RAGE:MP, start the game through your launcher and let it finish updating. The client then finds a complete, up-to-date installation.
Download the installer from rage.mp and install it into its own folder — not into the GTA V folder. On first launch, point it to where the game is and set your nickname.
Click Connect next to a server on this page, or find the server by name in the client. The first join downloads the server's files and takes longer.
Big roleplay servers want an account on their website or Discord and have their own rules. Without that you often can't even get onto the server.
The most common problems and fixes
| What happens | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| The game doesn't start after clicking a server | The client didn't find the game, or the launcher you own GTA V on isn't running. | Check the game path in the RAGE:MP settings and keep Steam, Epic or the Rockstar Launcher running. |
| The client stopped working after a GTA V update | The new game version arrived before the RAGE:MP update. | Wait for the client update; follow the official rage.mp website. |
| Your antivirus blocks the client | Some antivirus programs wrongly flag multiplayer client files. | Only download from rage.mp; if you're sure of the source, add an exception for the RAGE:MP folder only. |
| The connection times out | The server is offline or restarting. | Try again in a few minutes, or check the server's Discord. |

RAGE:MP runs outside Rockstar's servers and you don't launch GTA Online while using it. Rockstar's terms can change, though — read the project's current rules on rage.mp before you start.
FiveM has its own browser — find it in the GTA V menu under FiveM. From the worldwide list of more than 35,000 servers we keep the busiest English-language ones from every country.
Every hour we store the player count on every server. Open a server's details to see how many people were on it and when it's usually fullest.
GTA Online has its own guide, and on PC you can rebuild GTA V with mods. Both are just next door.
