Eight scenes. One week of hourly measurements.

Every hour, we record how many people are playing on FiveM, RedM, SA-MP, MTA and RAGE:MP servers. Here are eight language scenes side by side — where activity is highest, when servers fill up and why Brazil relies on a completely different framework from Europe.

Data from 7 October 2026–14 October 2026, based on 139 hourly measurements. Updated 14 October 2026.

What the data shows

Calculated from the latest figures and refreshed whenever the data is updated

Largest FiveM scene

The Portuguese-speaking scene — an average of 19,508 players across the monitored servers.

Most concentrated

The Italian scene — its three largest servers account for 46.8% of all players. Anyone looking for other players there will most likely end up on one of them.

Most dispersed

The English-speaking scene — its three largest servers account for just 12.3% of players, with the rest spread across dozens of others.

Strongest ESX presence

The Czech & Slovak scene — it runs on 70% of servers.

The exception

The Portuguese-speaking scene — its most widely used framework is not ESX but vRP (61% of servers).

Highest combined share of QBCore and Qbox

The Czech & Slovak scene — 24% of servers.

What the servers run on

A framework is the foundation of a roleplay server: it determines how the economy, inventory, jobs and police systems work. Players moving between servers that use the same framework can find their way around more quickly. Shares are calculated by server count, not player count; ‘unknown’ means the server did not identify its framework in either scripts or tags.

The Czech & Slovak sceneFor 95% of servers, we identify the framework directly from scripts; for the rest, we use tags.

When people play

Average FiveM player count by hour of day, in each scene's local time

The curve shows how each scene fills and empties over the course of a day. European scenes peak in the evening and are almost dormant in the morning; scenes with many players in other time zones have a flatter or shifted curve.

Other games

Average player count on monitored servers

FiveM is the largest platform today, but the other multiplayer games have not disappeared. SA-MP and MTA retain strong communities, particularly in Latin America and Brazil, where many players do not have powerful PCs. A dash means the scene averages fewer than five players in that game, or that we could not identify any server for it.

How we measure

Where the figures come from

Every hour, we retrieve public server lists for FiveM and RedM (cfx.re), SA-MP and open.mp, MTA and RAGE:MP. We store only the number of players on each server — never player names or identifiers.

What a scene means

A scene is defined by a server's language, not a player's country. We identify the language from the server settings or, if those are missing, from its name and description. The Spanish-speaking scene therefore includes Latin America, while the Portuguese-speaking scene primarily represents Brazil.

Why 100 servers

We monitor the entire Czech & Slovak scene. For every other scene, we track the 100 most active servers plus 20 from each country. To keep the figures comparable, we calculate framework use and player concentration from the same sample for every scene: the 100 servers with the highest average player count.

What the figures do not tell us

The average player count is not the number of individual people who play the game: one player appears in many hourly measurements over a day, and small servers outside the sample are omitted. The figures still provide a reliable comparison between scenes and show how activity changes over time.

Frequently asked questions

Which framework is best for a FiveM server?

There is no universal answer. ESX clearly leads in Europe, so it has the largest pool of scripts and developers who speak your language. Qbox is the actively developed successor to QBCore. In Brazil, vRP is the standard. Check what servers in your scene use and consider which framework has people available to support it.

When do FiveM servers have the most players?

European scenes peak between 8 and 10 p.m. local time and reach their lowest activity between 6 and 8 a.m. The curve above shows the exact hour for each scene; each server's page shows its own peak time.

Why does the Spanish-speaking scene peak at night?

Because most players on Spanish-language servers are in Latin America. Their evening falls during the European night, while the chart uses Madrid time.

How often are these figures updated?

We take measurements every hour and refresh the summary on this page with each website update. The date of the latest update appears at the top.
